BRIEF: Redesign of the magazine, on-going Art Direction
REALISATION: When I started working on this project the magazine was missing magazine-like characteristics. The first step was to design a new layout and grid-system. I also reworked the cover, logo and the magazine format. During this process, I was able to add extra fonts, new design elements and great portrait photography as an essential step towards a modern look and feel.
When it comes to the colour palette; I added and made use of the secondary CI-colours. As the project developed, we discovered that it was also necessary to rework the structure and content to create new story formats. With the goal of focusing more on the employees and their stories within the company. The last step was to add the adhesive binding and to select the beautiful uncoated paper to complete the new magazine look.
